Ladae Sellers-Thomas – Outstanding Team Member of the Month
Ladae Sellers-Thomas Brings Heart and Excellence to Mill Rd
At In Flight, Inc., our mission thrives because of the incredible dedication of our Direct Support Professionals—and for July, we are proud to recognize Ladae Sellers-Thomas as our Outstanding Team Member of the Month.
Since joining the Mill Rd residence in 2023, Ladae has made a truly meaningful impact. Her commitment to those she supports shines through in every aspect of her work. Whether she’s coordinating enriching vacations, organizing fun and engaging outings, or simply being a steady, compassionate presence in the home, Ladae always goes above and beyond to ensure the individuals in her care live joyful and fulfilling lives.
Her dedication doesn’t end at Mill Rd. Ladae regularly volunteers to cover shifts at other In Flight residences, stepping in with positivity and professionalism wherever she’s needed. She is a team player in the truest sense—someone who lifts others up and leads by example.
Ladae also plays a vital role in building up our future staff. She provides thoughtful, thorough guidance that helps new team members feel confident, prepared, and supported from day one. Her mentorship helps ensure the consistent, compassionate care our programs are known for.
Perhaps most importantly, Ladae has cultivated strong, meaningful relationships with each of the residents at Mill Rd. Her ability to connect with individuals, advocate for their needs, and celebrate their achievements is a powerful example of what person-centered care truly looks like.
Ladae, thank you. Your leadership, dedication, and heart make all the difference—not just in the lives of those you support, but across the entire In Flight community. Your work is deeply valued, and this recognition is more than well-deserved.
