In Flight's Cornhole for a Cause Fundraiser Tournament presented by Hudson Valley LTC Pharmacy - where fun meets philanthropy! Since 2021, this event has become our flagship fundraiser, replacing the traditional Golf Tournament to create a more inclusive and engaging experience for all.

Enjoy live music by Big Empty, compete in the cornhole tournament and Challenge the Champion side-game, and savor delicious offerings from local food vendors. Enjoy wizardly walkabout entertainment and press your luck in a silent auction and raffles.

A Brief History

In 2021, Cornhole for a Cause was launched by In Flight, Inc. as an inclusive and community-driven alternative to traditional fundraising events. Realizing that golf tournaments often cater to a narrow audience, In Flight introduced a more accessible option, cornhole, that invites people of all ages and abilities to participate. The event quickly became a local favorite in the Hudson Valley, offering a vibrant day of friendly competition, music, food, and unity - all while raising critical funds to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

What sets this event apart is its heart. As the Tiano Family of Route 66 Cornhole League put it after attending our 2024 event:

“I never ever expected to smile so much just seeing the joy and happiness throwing some bags with the In Flight ‘folks’... At the end of the day I believe we all took a little something away from these amazing people... In Flight, and their staff 100% earned all of my respect... When you see an individual that may be different from you in any way, give them a smile, a wave, and make their day, because wow they are some amazing individuals.”

Cornhole for a Cause has grown into more than just a tournament. It’s a celebration of community, connection, and inclusion. With over $68,000 raised to date and hundreds of attendees annually, this event continues to bring people together in extraordinary ways.
