At In Flight, Inc., we're proud to announce a new community partnership between our I-SAIL program and Lonely Worm Farm. This collaboration creates new opportunities for the individuals we support to grow through connection, learning, and creative expression.
The Success Academy for Independent Living (I-SAIL) offers a unique set of training programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It supports those who have aged out of school and are ready to build independent lives and pursue employment in their communities. I-SAIL includes three core services: The Academy, Community Pre-vocational Services, and Supported Employment.
Lonely Worm Farm is a care farm based in Hyde Park in Dutchess County. Here, adults with disabilities receive job training and participate in arts and agriculture projects, all within a natural and inclusive setting. The farm encourages growth, self-expression, and community connection through meaningful work and creativity.

I-SAIL at Lonely Worm Farm offers more than just skill-building—it provides a sense of purpose, belonging, and joy. Participants engage in a wide range of hands-on activities that support their personal growth and long-term independence.
Each day at the farm presents new opportunities for learning. Whether tending to the animals, exploring creative arts, or preparing healthy meals, individuals take pride in their accomplishments. These experiences help build confidence, strengthen daily living skills, and foster greater self-reliance.
