Ashley Johnson – Manager Spotlight and Highlight
Ashley Johnson is one of our amazing program managers here at In Flight. Currently, Ashley oversees our Supported Apartments in Kingston and Hudson, NY. Additionally, she has been instrumental in re-instating our Special Olympics Basketball Team and has coached it alongside her co-worker Adam Williams since 2023. We are so grateful to have Ashley on our In Flight Team for over 12 years.
Why did you join In Flight?
I joined In Flight 12.5 years ago when the opportunity for professional growth aligned with my passion for making a difference.
How did you get into this field?
I started in the field about 18 years ago working with children with disabilities. I feel the biggest contribution anyone can give is to help others, which led me to pursue a career in Human Services.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is working with individuals daily to achieve their goals.
What is one of your favorite memories at the Supported Apartments?
One of my favorite moments was a group trip to Atlantic City.
What is your favorite activity to do with the folks?
One of my favorite things to do with the folks is getting them out into the community and watching them experience new things.
