Savannah Oxenhirt – Outstanding Team Member of the Month
Savannah Oxenhirt, a new Residential Coordinator, has gone above and beyond to assist her colleagues from multiple residential sites. Since Savannah has started at In Flight, she has proven her weight in Gold. She is a true team player who goes above and beyond for the sake of doing what’s right for others!
Savannah has helped with coverage multiple times when coverage ratio is low to none. She covers medication pours when staff is unavailable at any time of the day, covers various residential program locations, and will send her staff to assist other programs with coverage. Additionally, she has assisted Kinderhook personally with coverage on the floor or helping with the ladies after ensuring her programs are secured. From providing healthy meals to hands-on ADL care, transporting to obtain medical care, or taking our individuals out for community entertainment, the list just goes on.
Furthermore, Savannah Oxenhirt is an exceptional young woman who holds a brighter future in advocating and illustrating the needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She leads by example, promotes a positive team player attitude, and even role models for staff that teamwork makes the dream work.
