Collaborate with In Flight
Embarking on a collaborative journey with In Flight, Inc. presents a unique and impactful opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). By joining forces with us, you contribute to a community that empowers people with I/DD to reach for their hopes and dreams.
In Flight provides pre-vocational and employment opportunities through collaborative efforts with local businesses and nonprofits, enriching the people we support with skill sets to obtain and maintain employment. Additionally, these services provide the opportunity for our individuals to connect with their fellow community members. With these services, our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Job Coaches work side-by-side with our individuals to offer assistance when needed.
These volunteer opportunities can also come in the form of a group effort with other nonprofits or businesses. Operations Unite Education and Cultural Arts Center collaborated alongside our Residential Program to build a garden - beautifying the outdoor space while also providing hands-on learning for our individuals and their youth program participants.
Additionally, through a collaboration with Standing Room Only, a local theater group in Lagrangeville, New York, we offer theater experience for teens and young adults with I/DD in the local area. This opportunity encourages anyone interested to participate, providing reduced tuition costs through enrolling in our Respite program via a Medicaid waiver. Although the Medicaid waiver partnership allows In Flight to offer staffing oversight and reduce tuition for those who enroll, anyone is welcome to join the program.
Through these initiatives, we are not just creating opportunities; we are building a supportive and inclusive environment that enhances the quality of life for those we serve. Collaborate with In Flight, and together, we can make a meaningful impact on the journey of empowerment and inclusion.
