Behavioral Services: Clinical
Health and Behavioral Services are essential to independence. The In Flight Clinical Department's main purpose is to promote independence and proactive behavior by teaching skills to decrease challenging behavior. To accomplish our mission, the Clinical department comprises of a Ph.D. Level Psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and other qualified clinicians certified at different levels in the field of Behavior Analysis.
The clinical team works diligently to provide evidence-based interventions to support each person receiving services. We aim to become a more ABA-oriented program by laying the framework and implementing strategies consistent with the field. Further, In Flight is proud to be continuously supporting staff in becoming RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians). This allows our residential and programmatic staff to receive specialized training and a nationally recognized certification in the field of ABA. This offers the clinical department the opportunity to be more engrained in everyday life of the people we support.
The clinical department provides many different clinical and behavioral services. Our team creates behavior support plans, medication monitoring plans, and proactive guidelines consistent with ABA. principles. Additionally, we offer other clinical supports using the principles and techniques of CBT. and DBT.
At In Flight, our mission is to provide the most effective behavioral support we can. We want to ensure that each plan is directed by documentation and directly aids in the person's growth. Our aim is to use scientific principles to support the best life possible for the people we support.
