At In Flight, Inc., we are dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our Residential Programs play a crucial role in this mission, providing a supportive group home environment where residents can learn vital household skills and enjoy a high quality of life. However, the outdoor areas of our residences had long needed attention. Henceforth, by enhancing these spaces, we aimed to create welcoming environments where our residents could relax, socialize, and find joy in gardening.
We are immensely grateful to our donors, including Adam’s Fairacre Farms, Callander’s Nursery & Landscaping, Lowe’s, The New Corn Crib Greenhouse, and Northern Dutchess Botanical Gardens. Their donations of flowers, plants, and gardening supplies were instrumental in the success of this project. Additionally, thank you Janet Del Rosario, a dedicated donor and active Red Hook community member, for her donation of supplies.
