Jennifer Wells, Director of Community Services, has had the pleasure of knowing Sarah for over ten years. She shared, “I met Sarah ten years ago when we were employed for the same agency that serves people with developmental disabilities. After a short while, I was privileged enough to become Sarah’s supervisor and have been able to supervise her through several work roles and two agencies. In my experience, Sarah is extremely creative in her ideas for programming for people in our area with developmental disabilities.”
Sarah’s journey from a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to a managerial role is a testament to her natural leadership abilities and dedication to excellence. Her initiatives, such as facilitating cooking classes for individuals with developmental disabilities and spearheading inclusive theater programs, reflect her commitment to empowerment and inclusion.
