National Disability Pride Month

July is Disability Pride Month, a time to honor and celebrate the diversity, culture, and contributions of people with disabilities. Established to promote visibility and mainstream awareness of the positive pride felt by people with disabilities, it coincides with the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This landmark legislation, signed into law on July 26, 1990, ensures the rights of individuals with disabilities to participate fully in society, free from discrimination.

This year, the ADA celebrated its 34th anniversary. While significant progress has been made, we must remain mindful of the unresolved issues people with disabilities face.

This Disability Pride Month and all year round, join In Flight in celebrating the achievements and contributions of our community members. Advocate for action and promote accessibility. Join us in making a difference all year round by supporting a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.

Tea Time with the Kingston Salvation Army

In the latest episode of Tea Time with TC, Tiffany sits down with Captain Erik of the Salvation Army in Kingston to discuss the incredible volunteer work she and her fellow Pre-Voc participants do every Friday.
