In Flight's Cornhole for a Cause Fundraiser Tournament presented by Hudson Valley LTC Pharmacy – where fun meets philanthropy!

Since 2021, this event has become our flagship fundraiser, replacing the traditional Golf Tournament to create a more inclusive and engaging experience for all.

A Brief History

In Flight made a strategic shift from a hosting a golf tournament to our esteemed Cornhole for a Cause after recognizing the need for a more inclusive and accessible event. While golf tends to be exclusive, cornhole is a game for everyone. In example, the American Cornhole Association partnering with the Special Olympics to create modified game rules per person ability. Even without modifications, many people with disabilities have been able to become professional cornhole players like Dayton Webber. 

Previous Success

In the past, our Cornhole for a Cause Tournament has been a resounding success with over $25,000 raised in total! We witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 200 members of our community. The camaraderie between our folks receiving services through In Flight and community members was heartwarming and truly showcased the power of inclusivity. Separate tournaments allowed community members to mentor our participants, fostering a sense of unity and shared enjoyment of the game. Read more about 2023's Cornhole for a Cause.

What's New in 2024

As we enter our third year, we're excited to announce a significant expansion of our event. In 2024, we're breaking down barriers even further by introducing a social blind draw tournament at the beginning of the day. This inclusive event invites professionals, our folks, children, and backyard enthusiasts to come together for a day of shared passion and friendly competition. Whether you're a seasoned pro or someone who plays for the love of the game, there's a place for you at our Cornhole for a Cause Tournament.
