InFlight, Inc.provides Individual Residential Alternative’s (IRA’s) to individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities in both Columbia and Ulster Counties. Our mission is to help them reach their highest level of independence and inclusion into the community while living in a home setting. We strive to ensure those individuals become an integral part of their community. The IRA staff are dedicated caregivers who teach and assist with daily living and self-care skills, proper hygiene, money management, cooking skills and more as they promote community involvement.

ADL’S: Adult Daily Living Skills which include; personal hygiene (such as proper grooming), laundry care, making beds, setting a table, as well as other tasks associated with community involvement.

MONEY MANAGEMENT: Making money budgets, doing comparative shopping, practice independent banking skills, and learning the value of money and how to use it.

COOKING SKILLS: Plan daily menus, make grocery lists and assist with the shopping, prepare and cook meals for the household.

COMMUNITY OUTINGS: Participate in activities such as swimming, shopping, going to the movies and library, bowling and dining out, while implementing community awareness and safety.
